THE HISTORY OF CITIZEN WATCHES

Who would have known in 1548, when the first watches made their appearance, (which was either German or French in origin), that it went from a clunky device to the high-tech time-pieces of today.

The early craftsman would be astounded how far watches have come. The Swiss and the English did not produce their first watch until about 1575.

In the horological industry, this was considered one of the great advancement and innovations of the day.

...But 376 years later, in 1924 the first Citizen watch was created. Utilizing a new technology.

The actual Citizen Watch company was born in 1930, six years later. The Citizen Watch company became very successful with colorful designs, and pushed out many products.

The Citizen Watch company became one of the most hated companies in its industry.

Citizen is the first time-piece manufacturer to have invented the first analog quartz watch, which is the way the world told time.

Today Citizen have taken their watches to a whole new level.

I don't know about you, but I love my Citizen Watch. I've had my for 22 years and it still keeps great time, and it has a timeless beauty with a semi-precious stone time stem.

Not only crafted like a work of art, more like fine jewelry, than a watch, set in silver, gold, and platinum, with precious and semi-precious stones. At reasonable prices.

My Citizen not only survived the test of times, but it also survived three years in the military.

If you don't believe that Citizen watches, are in a class all by themselves, then check these out.
